HRF Weekly Update - January 21, 2018

hrf_weekly_update_1080x700

This Sunday, January 21, 2018, we will be continuing the series called “Gospel Identity - Who Am I?” Pastor Miguel will be preaching from Ephesians 1:3-6.

We encourage you to prepare for corporate worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message on Sunday. Here is a list of the songs we will be singing this Sunday as well.

WEEKLY DISCIPLESHIP RESOURCES

Here are a few discipleship resources our elders recommend checking out this week.

  1. Movement, monument, mausoleum - What kind of a church do you want to belong to? Consider these three things.
  2. Conflict Is An Opportunity - Most people don’t enjoy conflict. However, there is something that is lost, particularly for Christians, when we avoid biblically handling necessary conflict.
  3. How Gospel-Identity Enables Gospel-Behavior - The gospel changes our identity and our behavior. Who we are in Christ (our identity) leads to what we do in the chrisitan life.

Please read them and use them as discipleship opportunities to discuss with one another. You can also view an archive of recommended discipleship resources here.

HRF WOMENS RETREAT - SPRING 2018

We are excited to announce an opportunity to encourage us women to all press forward towards Christ together! Next year, HRF will be hosting a Women's Retreat for the women of HRF. The theme for the 2018 HRF Women's Retreat will be "Gospel, Safety, Time" and should serve as an opportunity for us all to better understand the role we each play in our responsibilities towards one another and cultivating a healthy gospel culture within our church body.
