HRF Weekly Update - May 6, 2018
This Sunday, April 29, 2018, we will begin a new sermon series through the book of Acts. Pastor Tony will be preaching from Acts 1:1-11.
We encourage you to prepare for corporate worship by reading and praying through the text prior to the message on Sunday.
WEEKLY DISCIPLESHIP RESOURCES
Here are a few discipleship resources our elders recommend checking out this week.
- Seven Ways To Pray for Your Prayer Life -Here are seven ways that you can pray about your prayer life. These are seven items you can add to your prayer list as you consider your own prayer life or another person’s.
- Doing the Lord’s Work in the Lord’s Way Will Mean More Accomplishments and More Scars -The Lord’s work in the Lord’s way is the Lord’s work in the power of the Holy Spirit and not in the power of the flesh.
- 10 Things You Should Know about Christian Hospitality-Jesus identifies with the stranger, the outsider, the needy. Daily hospitality hones a distinctive Christian culture from within as it embraces evangelistic optimism, knowing that if God wills, strangers will become neighbors and neighbors will become part of the family of God. Who knows? This may happen at your kitchen table tonight.
Please read them and use them as discipleship opportunities to discuss with one another. You can also view an archive of recommended discipleship resources here.

Please sign up and let us know what you will be bringing here.
HRF HOSPITALITY PREFERENCE FORM
As mentioned in our member's meeting yesterday, we are asking all members of HRF to submit their preferences regarding which areas of hospitality they are willing to serve in, to include serving communion and reading scripture during corporate worship.
Please take a moment and check as many positions that you would be willing to serve in here.
