Disaster Relief Volunteer Opportunities
As you know, there have been a number of natural disasters that have taken place over the last few weeks that have affected millions of people. Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria have impacted places that are are in desperate need of help - financially, spiritually, and physically.
HRF has been looking for ways to get involved in the relief efforts that are being organized though our partner organizations, NAMB and the SBCV. There are many opportunities to serve on a disaster relief team to one of the affected areas (Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico) both both now and in the months to come.
Our deacon of Facilities, Nathan Kambic, will be overseeing disaster relief efforts from HRF and is is currently organizing a trip to one of the affected areas and looking for volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities to serve in one of the affected areas, please him at email@example.com, or text him at (434) 760-4005.
Even if you are not able to volunteer, please consider praying for and giving to the relief efforts that are currently underway. You can give financially here.
Let's continue to pray for these affected areas and that God would give us opportunities to share the gospel and display His character through our response.
